The day is my Dad’s birthday. This afternoon I went to the shopping center downtown, and bought a present for him. Then I took the subway train home. Sitting on the train, I thought my dad would be very happy when he saw the present. At the next station, an old lady with two heavy bags got on the train and stood in front of me. She looked tired. I hesitated for a moment, and then offered my seat to her. The old lady thanked me a lot and sat down. Seeing her smile, I felt happy. I will always be ready to help others in the future.

Welcome to the column ”English Writing”! In order to improve students’ ability of writing, let students communicate with each other more conveniently and students can post their English articles easier, our school set up a new column “English Writing” in the Internet.
In this new column, there are many good teachers correct students’ English articles online. They will point out students’ mistakes and correct them. In addition, the teachers will tell students some new words, phrases and some advantage sentences to make their articles more wonderful. What’s more, if students have some mistakes of grammar, teachers will teach they patiently.
The articles which are about students’ lives are welcome. This new column encourages students to write their feelings when they see something in their lives
Some good English articles will be post in the English Newspaper. And in every weekend, teachers and students will choose the top of 5 English articles. The student whose articles have been chosen 5times will be given a Free Books Card valus100 yuan.
