Big egg
1. Hen has some eggs. One is big. The rest are small. "This is not my egg!" says Hen. Whose egg is it? Hen wants to find out. She goes from door to door.
Is it a cat egg?"No, I don't lay eggs," says Cat.
2. Is it a dog egg? "No, I don't lay eggs," says Dog.
3. Is it a pig egg? "No, I don't lay eggs," says Pig.
4. Is it a cow egg? "No, I don't lay eggs," says Cow.
5. Is it a goat egg? "No, I don't lay eggs," says Goat.
6. Is it a fox egg? "Yes! It's my egg. I'm looking for it," says Fox.
7. At that time, the small eggs crack."Peep! Peep!" say the small chicks. Then the big egg also cracks. "Squawk!" says the big chick.
8. "Run!" says Hen.
9. Hen has some chicks. One is big. The rest are small. Hen loves them all.
I hate my bow
(1) I hate my bath.
(2) I hate my bow. I hate my chain. I hate this baby.
(3) I hate this cat.
(4) Hi, guys. May I play with you?
(5) Oops! Those guys won't play with a dog with a bath and a bow and a chain.
(6) I have an idea. Come here, cat. Take the pretty bow.

The BULLY
① Brother calls Sister into the room. “Wow,” says Sister. “Boxing gloves! Thank you very much, Brother!”
② Sister begins to practice right away. With Brother's help, she learns quickly and breaks a bag easily. She is no longer afraid of bullies!
③ One day, Sister is playing on the playground. She sees Tuffy, the bully.
④ Tuffy is throwing stones at a baby bird. Sister has to do something. “Stop that, you bully!” shouts Sister. “You’ll hurt that baby bird!”
⑤ Tuffy gets angry. She runs to Sister. Sister is ready, too. Quickly, Tuffy finds herself sitting on the ground with a bloody nose.
⑥ A teacher pulls Sister and Tuffy into the principal’s office.
⑦ “If the principal tells mom and dad,” says Tuffy, “I’ll be finished.” Sister is worried, too. The principal is very strict about fighting!
⑧ Another teacher sees the whole thing. She tells the principal that Sister was just trying to protect a baby bird. So he lets Sister go. As for Tuffy, she has to stay in the office and have a talk with the principal.
Pie rats ahoy!
1. There are pirates near Busytown Bay(海湾). But that doesn't stop Uncle Willy. He is going sailing. He brings a cherry pie for lunch.
2. He comes to a small island. "I think I'll take a nap," he says. He goes to sleep.
3. Ahoy, there, Uncle Willy! Pirates are coming! They eat the pie and put Uncle Willy on the island.
4. On the island, there is grass, shells, driftwood and a palm tree. Uncle Willy has an idea. He makes some cloth out of grass.
5. He makes a head out of driftwood. He makes eyes and teeth out of shells. He makes a tail out of a palm leaf.
6. Then he gets inside. Yo ho ho! A monster crocodile! He swims out to the boat. "Look out! It's a crocodile!" cries the Pirate King.
7. When people see the crocodile coming, they're very afraid. But it is only Uncle Willy.
8. Officer Murphy takes those pie rats away. Hooray! It's safe to sail again in Busytown Bay!
