　　回头我给你打回去好吗?这儿有点急事。Can I call you back? There is an emergency。

　　我的另一部电话响了。My other line is ringing。

　　抱歉，我要挂电话了。Sorry, I’d better go now。

　　Ann：Hello, three-five.。。

　　Sam：Is that Ann?

　　Ann：I’m sorry. I’m very tired. I’m going to bed early. I didn’t have a good time and I don’t really want to see you again。

　　Sam：What are you talking about? We had a great time. We laughed and talked all night last time。

　　Ann：It was hardly all night. And I recall it was you doing all the laughing at your own jokes。

　　Sam：That’s not fair. We had fun. Give me a second chance. Can we meet tomorrow night for drinks at the pub?

　　Frank：I know, but I promise I won’t be sleepy tomorrow. I work really hard.

　　Mother：Don’t you have exams coming up soon? I’m sure you could spend more time preparing for those.

　　Frank：Oh, I nearly forgot the exams.

　　Mother：You do well in the math, but your history is not good enough, am I right?

　　Frank：Yeah, I guess so. Maybe I could go to sleep now and get up early to review the lessons tomorrow.

　　Mother：An excellent idea. Work now and play later.

　　Frank：I know you’re right. School is more important than TV, but can I watch one more show then go to bed?

　　Mother：No, now is bedtime.

　　Leo：I’m sorry. It was too cold and my car couldn’t start. I had to warm it up in the garage with a heater. I tried to call you, but couldn’t get a connection.

　　Doris：Couldn’t get a connection?

　　Leo：Yes. Your number is out of service.

　　Doris：Really? I didn’t know. Let me check. You’re right.

　　Leo：So I couldn’t get through.

　　Doris：It’s a serious problem. I’m expecting an important call. The theater guild is supposed to call me this evening and discuss my play. What will happen if they can’t reach me?

　　K: yes, you're right. I can blog wherever and whenever I'm on the move. It's especially good when I'm on a business trip and my laptop happens to be away from me.

　　J: what if you want to publish some photos?

　　K: then I'll shoot some pictures, re-size the images and upload them with text descriptions to my blog.
