　　However, other people believe that having lots of money is not happiness nor is holding a high position in the government.

　　These people value their beliefs, or their intelligence, or their health.

　　They think these can make them happy.

　　For me, happiness is closely tied to my studies, my work and my family.

　　When I made great progress in my studies, when I made contributions to the society through my work, when all the members in my family live in harmony, sharing good and sad times, I was happy.

　　Although the definition of happiness depends on each individual my "wealth" of happiness is in my studies, my work, and my family.

　　In this society, nobody can live without money. It seems everything we need will use money to acquire. Then, here comes the question, can money buy happiness? Some people say that money is the source of happiness. With enough money, people can go to the places they never been, buy the things they ever want. So, they come to the conclusion that money is everything. It can buy happiness. And it’s also the resource of happiness. However, in my humble opinion, money can not buy everything, happiness is not all the thing that money can buy.

　　There is no denying that money is useful. The chief thing to remember is we must be the owners of money, not to be the slaves of money. We must let the money to work for us. If we don’t have the right attitude toward to money, we may be in big trouble. Countless people break the laws because of money. In this case, you can not live in happiness. Just as the old saying goes, money cann’t buy everything, but without money, you can do nothing. Only with the proper use, money can bring us happiness.

　　Fun is what we experience during an act, happiness is what we experience after an act. The latter is a deeper, more abiding emotion. Watching a movie or television is fun activities that help us relax, temporarily forget our problems and even laugh. But they do not bring happiness, because their positive effects end when the fun ends.

　　The way people cling to the belief that a fun-filled, painfree life equals happiness actually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness. If fun and pleasure are equated with happiness, then pain must be equated with unhappiness, but in fact, the opposite is tree. More often than not, things that lead to happiness involves some pain. It seems no fun undertaking some hard work, but when you finish it successfully, you will feel happy.

　　The moment we understand that fun does not necessarily bring happiness, we began to lead our lives differently. We should not merely seek fun in life, but try to pursue happiness even if we may undergo pains and difficulties.
