有效提高英语听力的方法与试题
导语:提高英语听力,当然可以有多种方法,比如您是大款,您可以花钱雇一个英国人,天天陪着您,跟您说英语,或者干脆去英国,住上几年,听力也就上去了。不过您也明白,绝大多数中国人都没有这个条件,所以我们必须找一种适合中国国情、比较经济、又比较有效的方法,下面我就给您介绍一种,您可以试试,看看效果怎样。
首先,您必须学过英语,并且掌握至少1000个单词,这是前提条件。我这里所说的“掌握”是指,我单独说出一个单词,比如cinema,您就能听出来,哦,是cinema,中文意思是电影院,但是把这个单词放在一个长句子中,您就听不出来了,因为您的听力比较差。
随后,您必须从今天开始,坚持每天晚上8点钟(或7点钟,或9点钟),收听中国国际广播电台(CRI)的英语新闻,大约10分钟,不会占用您很多时间。CRI的英语新闻,国内许多大、中城市的FM都可以收到,万一收不到,也可以改听美国之音(VOA)、英国广播公司(BBC)甚至北韩的英语新闻,但我不知道它们的频率。
在您听之前,您必须准备好一张纸和一支笔,英语新闻开始后,您就必须认真听,一定要认真听,周围环境最好要安静,每听到一个自己熟悉的单词,就立刻把它写在纸上,比如听到minister,马上写下来,听到visit,马上写下来,等等等等。
第一天,您可能只听懂15个单词,没有关系,第二天就可能增加到27个,只要您坚持(我特别强调坚持),一个月之后,您至少能够听懂几百个,半年之后,您掌握的那些单词,基本上都能听出来了。
这样边听边写,有三大好处。第一是练习听力,第二是温习单词,这两点,我就不用多说了。第三点,非常非常重要,假设您刚刚听了一条新闻,是关于中东局势的,并在纸上记下4个单词,分别是bomb(炸弹)、seven(七人)、died(死亡)、occupy(占领),其它单词都没听懂,但这已经没有关系了,因为根据您的国际常识,您已经可以猜出,巴勒斯坦激进组织又在以色列制造了一起炸弹爆炸事件,造成七人死亡,以色列马上进行报复,占领了部分巴勒斯坦领土。
如果您今后英语越学越好,终于有一天,有一家大公司聘请您为英语口译,您就必须具备这种速记、速猜、速译的能力,这是因为在实际口译过程中,对方往往要讲一大段话,才停下来,此时,您必须能够抓住几个关键词,再根据您的记忆,把这一大段话的中文意思串出来。
