　　Jingjing: Pleasure. Didn't you know? Today is Duanwu Jie!

　　Xiao Gao: Duan what?

　　Jingjing: Duanwu jie! You know, people munch on zongzi, drink realgar wine, and race dragonboats!

　　Xiao Gao: Ohhh! You mean the Dragon Boat Festival?

　　Jingjing: Duh!

　　Xiao Gao: Cool! So that's why I don't have to go back to the saltmines until Thursday?

　　Jingjing: Right. Why else would your company take a vacation?

　　Xiao Gao: I dunno. I figured it was just our summer vacation.

　　Jingjing: Fess up! You've never learned about this holiday before. I think you better hit thebooks. Today is an important holiday in China. The library is right around the corner. I'll talk toyou after you do some studying.
