The chart compares five main reasons for choosing a typical university for students in Britain in 1998 and 2005.
According to the bar chart, more than 25% of students went to the university in Britain because of its resources in 1995 which was slightly greater than that in 2005, constituting 25%. Furthermore, it is noticeable that those who chose that university in the UK both in 1985 and 2005 for the reason of the degree course accounted for the most proportion among five causes, 35% and 40% respectively. On the contrary，the reason for distance between home and school took up the smallest percentage, reaching 10%, while in 2005 the rate of distance cause experienced a rapid increase to approximately 23%.
As for teaching regarded as one of reasons to choose the university，the proportion in 2005 was equal to the reason for sport facilities in 1985，accounting for 20%. Similarly，15% of reasons for going the university in Britain were due to the teaching level in 198 and sport facilities in 2005.
Overall，the cause of the degree course enjoyed the greatest popularity among students who studied in the particular school in Britain in 1988 and 2005 compared with other factors which were seen diverse degrees of fluctuations simultaneously.

In recent years, living alone has become increasingly normal around the world, especially in those major cities. There could be several reasons why this is the case，and I believe that it has both positive and negative effects on our society.
There are various reasons why many people choose to live by themselves. Firstly, because of urbanization and globalization, a growing number of people of working age have to live in cities far away from their hometown, especially those who just graduate from universities. As they do not want to disturb or to be disturbed by their parents, they prefer to live by themselves. Besides, the increasing awareness of independence may also have an impact on the choice of how to live. In addition, the convenient transport such as railway and airplane and technology like mobile phones could meet the demand for contacting with our family members and friends both physically and emotionally, which provides the possibility for us to live on our own.
In my view，the rapid increase in the number of one-person households has both beneficial and detrimental effects on our community. From the perspective of economy，the trend of living individually could lead to the increasing demand for housing, which could boost construction industry, real estate, bank and other related industries which provide services and products for homeowners. On the other hand，people living alone for a long time might suffer from depression and feel isolated since they lack a sense of community, which is not good for neighborliness.
In conclusion，on the societal level，living by oneself can have both positive and negative influence.
