　　七夕风俗

　　七月初七日为七夕节，亦称"乞巧节"、"少女节"、"情人节"。

　　七夕节，主要是庆贺天上牛郎与织女的一年一会。来源于神话故事，民间习惯称为天河配。

　　依照七夕节天上牛郎、织女相会的情节，山西民间有扎像庆贺之俗，就是在街头巷口用树枝等物扎成一对青年男女像，代表牛郎、织女相会。在像前敬献瓜果桃李以示祝贺。星汉灿烂之际，如果看到天河中有奕奕正白气，闪耀着五色的光芒，就被认为是牛郎织女相见的征兆。旧时此刻要下拜，乞求牛郎、织女恩赐。据说牛郎织女是勤劳的化身，所以跪拜者求农求织求婚均可。求金求银求暴利则要适得其反。一人只能乞求一事，求多则不灵。在吉祥征兆面前，连续三年诚心诚意乞求一事，则必然应验。山西气候，七夕前后多降雨，能够连续三年乞求一事当属不易。民间传说，七夕节如果天上降雨，就是牛郎织女哭诉衷肠，预兆着夫妻和睦，家庭兴旺。

　　七夕节里，姑娘媳妇还有许多向织女讨教手艺的活动，称为乞巧。

　　晋南地区习惯用当年产的新麦秸编成一座桥，配以牛郎、织女，男孩、女孩、老牛、喜鹊等编织物，置放案头。或是用彩色纸，剪成上述景物，贴在墙上。祈祷后，拿七根绣花针，用彩色线来穿针孔，能够一次顺利穿过七个针孔者就被认为乞得了巧。

　　曲沃县盛行男、女孩童以星星草、香节投水乞巧。

　　晋北地区习惯白天在院里晒一盆水，因微尘飘落，盆水的表面形成了一层薄薄的膜。将绣花针涂油以后，轻轻放置水面，能够飘浮者则被认为是乞得了巧。

　　晋西北地区是在盆水中放置豆芽，将节前生好的豆芽，放置水面。在阳光照耀下，经过盆水的折射，水底倒影会显示出各种动态，或蜈蚣、或水蛇、或水狗、小鸡。倒影显得越复杂越逼真，意喻艺巧越多。
