I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.
After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.
Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

让我们扣人心弦的英语即将来临，我们个个都心潮澎湃。在英语晚会到来的前几天，同学都在忙着把自己班的教室打扮很绚丽、新颖。我们教室也不赖，在教室的灯上，挂着五颜六色的彩带，灯一开，彩带就会发出耀眼的光芒，在讲台上面，还有一串雪花，正中间，还有大铃铛，窗子上，到处贴的都是雪花，好像真的下雪了一样教室的.后门最花了，各种彩带都挂了下来，光彩夺目。我们再把桌子移到周围，中间空出。教室布置好了，就只要等待英语晚会到来。
让我们苦苦等待英语晚会终于到来了，那天晚上，我们早早地用好晚餐，快步流星地来到教室。英语晚开始了，我们同学们都把自己带的零食发好，接着就打开电视观看表演，看完，就开始班级表演。同学们一边带着圣诞帽津津有味地吃着零食，一边欣赏同学表演的节目，真是不亦乐乎。第一个节目是唱歌，表演完后，掌声一阵阵响起来，下一组是我表演课本剧，表演完，只听一阵掌声，我悬着的心终于放下了。后面几组表演完后开始玩游戏，接着又开始。过了一会儿，“圣诞老人”来了，全体同学都拥了过去，全班立即沸腾起来。

我在新东方学习英语已经一年多了，虽然每次考试我都能在班上拿到第一名，但爸爸，妈妈和rainbow（我的英文老师）都想知道与其他同龄孩子相比，到底大家水平相差多少。所以，今年我报考了新东方的全国少儿英语竞赛的a组比赛。a组的小朋友都是7－8岁年龄段的，我们需要通过地区的海选，复赛，决赛。然后第一名的小朋友将代表该地区与其他40多个城市的冠军选手比赛。
5月的第一个星期六，我终于迎来了我的海选考试，这次广州赛区a组参赛的小朋友一共1200多人，我怀着兴奋又忐忑的心情参加了40分钟的听力考试，考完后爸爸妈妈问我感觉如何，我回答不错，但其实我感觉还是挺好的`，可能有一两个错误点吧！
然后我又怀着期待的心情等待比赛结果，因为1200个小朋友只有前20名能进入复赛，这样过了一周又一周。终于昨天我放学回家时妈妈高兴的告诉我，我以优异的成绩进入前20名，将于这星期五和星期六参加口语和笔试的复赛，这次复赛是参加剑桥少儿英语一级考试。前5名将参加6月的广州地区决赛。
