　　初中英语作文是学生学习英语的重要组成部分,是学生书面表达能力的综合体现,也是中考试题的必查内容。可是,不少学生对英语写作充满畏难情绪,习作质量低下。目前的英语写作教学现状确实不那么令人乐观。

　　要重视词汇的学习。外研初中英语为词汇的学习提出了明确的要求:不带标记的单词,要求学生会读,听得懂,会拼写,能说出词义和词类。带*号的单词,只要求会读,听得懂,不要求拼写。标注△的单词只要求理解,不要求记忆。

　　巩固学过的词汇。为了更好的记忆,必须认真复习,及时巩固。艾宾浩斯遗忘曲线表明,遗忘的进程是不平衡的,在识记后短时间内遗忘较快,以后逐渐缓慢。教师在教学过程中要把这一规律介绍给学生,告诫他们在学习词汇时,必须及时复习,经常复习,合理分配时间和内容,这样才有助于记忆的巩固。

　　要合理运用词汇。例如句子Heisdressedinblack,就词组bedressedin而言,不仅要讲清它的含义,即“穿着”,表示主语的状态,还要与puton加以对比,说明puton的含义是“穿、戴”,表示主语的行为。

　　要加大对语法知识的训练,人们常说,熟能生巧。只有通过一定量的训练,才能熟练运用语法知识。训练可分为单项训练和综合两部分。首先要从单项训练开始,然后进行综合训练。

　　运用多种形式,培养学生的写作能力

　　写作训练与对话教学相结合。在对话教学中,除了听录音、对话、表演和编写相似的对话外,教师还可要求学生把对话改写成一段短文。学生在改写短文的过程中,要注意时态、语态、人称和前后的逻辑关系。
