　　What are the causes of this problem? On the one hand, in order to earn more economic gains(经济收益), a considerable number of （很多）manufactures usually wrap their products with unnecessary but appealing (吸引人的)materials aiming at attracting customer’s attention , arousing their curiosity and then stimulating their purchasing desire （吸引顾客的注意力并引发他们的好奇心）. On the other hand, quite a few customers believe that the more delicate the package seems，the superior the quality will be（包装越精美，产品质量就越好）,the notion has also encouraged the trend of excessive packaging. However, the emergence of excessive package（过度包装） has given rise to（导致）many undesirable consequences that can’t be neglected （不容忽视）. For one thing，it is a waste of precious and limited natural resources，which will thus pose underlying (潜在的) threat to our offspring generation（子孙后代）. For another, customers are often deceived by artificial external packing rather than being provided with high-quality goods .

　　英语作文教学

　　人们常说教无定法，但是教学还是应该有一些有效的方法来支撑，来指导学生，是学生通过教师的指导，引导能独立进行完成学习。教无定法，但是也不能毫无章法，一定要有方法，用有效的方法指导我们的'教学实践。

　　从教四年多，对于英语作文教学来说，一直都是自己的弱点，而且也没有有效的方法来指导学生进行写作，在教学中总感觉，不是学生不会写作文，不是不会用英语来表达自己的作文句子，而是学生没有思维，不能发散自己的思维，给出作文题目，在大脑里没有想法，不知道写什么，更不知道从何下手。而通过最近的学习，听有经验，经验丰富的教授和教学能手老师的讲座，才知道自己的作文教学中从在许多的弊端，不是学生不会发散思维，不是学生没有想法，也不是学生不会写作文，是我没有设计好作文教学，没有给学生提供思路，没有给学生打开思路，没有给学生提供发散思维的基础，从而完成学生写作没思路，不知道写什么。

　　这几天的讲座，有好几位老师都提到了英语作文教学，而且讲解了英语作文写作的模式和方法，从而我明白了过程性写作的重要性，学生作文的写作必须在我们可以监控的范围内进行，而且初中作文一般情况写才用三段式的模式进行写作，而且最重要的是，让学生写作文，教师一定要设计好心淡学生，启发学生写作的每一个环节，从而为学生提供写作思路，提供写作方法，使学生会写同类型作文。

　　因此，听了这些老师的讲座感觉自己真的是在作文教学中“教无定法”。同时感觉自己很幸运有本次学习机会，听到经验丰富的老师的教学经验，学习借鉴他们的教学方法。我更希望自己能将这些方法运用到自己的教学中，摸索出适合自己的教学方法，不断提高自己的教学。

　　I had a wonderful trip to Guilin with my parents this summer holiday. It is a small city in the northeast of Guangxi. It has more than 2,000 year’s history and the whole city is about 27,800 square kilometers. There are green mountains, clear waters, unique caves and beautiful stones there. The most famous tourist attractions are elephant trunk hill, Li River, reed flute cave and Seven-star Park. Elephant trunk hill is the symbol of the city. It is really a fantastic hill. It looks like a huge elephant drinking water by the Li River!

　　Ask your parents to bring you to Guilin next time. You can go there by air, by train or by bus and get around on free buses in the city. If you go, I can go with you. I would like to visit it again! I am sure we will have a great time there.
