暑假里，我到青少年宫参加了英语的学习班，学英语。
一个暑假下来，我学会了全部的`26个英语字母和几十个单词。在学英语期间，老师还让我们做各种各样的英语游戏，比如把橡皮或铅笔放在背后，让我们用英语来猜。每次上完课回到家，我都把新学会的英语字母和单词说给家长听。有一次的回家作业是让我们考考家长的记忆力。老师让我们给家长出两道题，题前面是几个动物，后面要家长说出1、2、3、4和A、B、C、D的英语。第一题是：狗—one；猫—two；猪—three；鸭—four。我先让爸爸妈妈看一遍，然后我就给他们猜，我说“猫”他们说了“two”，“鸭”，他们说了“four”的英语，“狗”，他们就说“one”，我又问“狗”，他们又说了“one”，我哈哈大笑。爸爸妈妈问：“你笑什么啊？”“我笑你们，因为你们变成了狗。”他们这才反应过来，原来“1”的英语是“one”，跟狗叫的“汪汪汪”差不多。我又叫他们看第二题猪—A；猫—B；鸭—C；狗—D。我说“狗”，他们说“D”“猫”他们说“B”“鸭”，他们说“C”，“猪”，他们说A”。我又笑了起来“你们现在又成猪了”。爸爸妈妈这才恍然大悟，对呀，“A”读起来很像“哎”。家里充满了欢快的笑声。
学英语让我学会了不少的英语知识，我可喜欢学英语了！

My College
When I was in high school, go to college ismy dream. Now I realize my dream. excited as I am, the first time I see mycollege.
My college is inside the biggest universityof Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first Iam upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looksmodernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing isthe boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I seethe girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around butcan’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange,right? While I go across the burrow, I see another two big playgrounds and a tenniscourt at my left side. What is in my right side? Turn right, I see rows ofteaching building connecting with the library. This is mycollege. I like it notonly because of the evironment but also the people there.
Both the teachers and students there arevery nice. My roomates always help me in the daily life, the thing they usuallydo is wake me up in the morning. Other classmates always help me, when I meettrouble in study. My teachers are all kind and knowlegeable. Especially my headteacher, he talks with us and plays sports with us in order to make us get usedto the new life.
My college is wonderful. I love it. If youhave the opportunity, I hope you can pay a visit one day.

爷爷走到我面前，用请求的语气对我说：“孙女，你能不能教教我英语？”看着爷爷那忠诚的眼神，我无可奈何地对爷爷说：“好吧 ！让我先考一考您的基本功吧！”我拿出一张英语四线纸，写出前几个英语字母，后面的请爷爷写。爷爷看了看，胸有成竹的对我说：“孙女，你是不是小看我了？虽然我已经87岁了，但A B C D这些我都记得一清二楚，看我的吧！”果然，不到一会儿，爷爷就写完了，他把那张纸交给我，我打眼一看，全错！我失落地对爷爷说：“爷爷，看来你必须从基础开始了！”我从仓库里拿出一个白板和一支记号笔。开始从“零”开始。
经过365天的努力，终于学成了。当我问起爷爷为什么要学英语时，爷爷一五一十地告诉了我 。原来，那天爷爷去买中午饭，一位老外问他银行在哪儿，由于听不懂英语，伤害了爷爷的自尊心。
怪不得爷爷要学英语呢！

My View on Helping Others in Need
In modern society we are often sorry to see that people are reluctant to help others out, not to mention helping a stranger; offering a helping hand seems to be out of accord with the times。
Then what’s wrong with our society? Some people may say that facing skyrocketing housing prices, expensive medical expenditure
and soaring commodity prices, they have no choice but to struggle to make a living, and thus it would be impossible to spare a hand to help others because it may bring them into trouble. Therefore, standing by indifferently is their only choice。
However, is it necessary to be selfish in order to survive, or in order to ensure that people do not take advantage of you? In my opinion, helping others brings a strong sense of accomplishment. What’s more, the evaluation criteria
for judging one individual’s success should be modified so that offering a helping hand to people in need is encouraged and welcomed in our society all the time。
