顾秋蓓演讲稿 1
Dear,
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today I would like to begin with a story.
There was once a physical therapist(临床医学家)who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census(调查)about mountain gorillas(大猩猩). These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching(偷猎)and being put into the zoo.
She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. She witnessed a scene,a scene taking us to a place we never imaged weve ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas cuddled(拥抱)their babies.
Yes,thats a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist(薄雾),based on a true story of Mrs.Dian Fossey, who spent most of her lifetime in Rwanda to protect the eco-environment there until the very end of her life.
To me,the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a timeless(永恒的)reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our eco-environment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. On the one hand, tourism,as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go .It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth. It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur---natural scenes arent natural anymore. Deforestation to heat lodges is devastating Nepal.Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica. Tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks.
All these appalling(令人震惊的)facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been eroding(侵蚀)our resources. Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made 2002 the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the worlds attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our eco-environment.
Now every year, many local eco-environmental protection organizations are receiving donations--big notes, small notes or even coins--from housewives, plumbers(水管工人),ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and invalids(残疾人),Some of them can’t afford to send the money but they do.
These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood.WhyBecause they care.
Because they still want their Mother Nature back.Because they know it still belongs to them. This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen,is when it feels like it,smells like it,and looks like it,its all coming from a scene to remember,a scene to recall and to cherish. The other night, as l saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs.I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to something else, someplace else.a place remembered,a place untouched,a field of grass where no one seem to have been except the deer.
And all those unforgettable scenes strengthened the feeling that its time for us to do something, for our own and our coming generation.
Once again,I have come to think of Mrs.Dian Fossey ,because its with her spirit, passion, courage and strong sense of our eco-environment that we are taking our next step into the world. And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go,in our mind, theres always a scene to remember,a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.
Thank you very much.

Ladies and gentlemen:
Today is mothers day. I thought to my left: what can I do for my mothertoday? Yes, I can buy a hair card for my mother! Because when mother stirsvegetables, the hair always falls down, very inconvenient. I immediately told myfather what I thought, and my father was very sympathetic to my idea andpromised to buy it with me.
In the afternoon, after I went to go class, my father took me .comto buy. I chose the most beautiful hair card for mom. I took out the money fromgo and paid the bill and went home with my father.
When I got home, I took out the CARDS I had prepared and sent them to momshand and put them on. "My child is sensible," said the mother excitedly. Afterthe meal, my mother just had to wash the dishes. I came to my mother and said,"Ill do the dishes today." Mom was delighted with the flowers.
"In the hand of the mothers hand, the dress of the wandering child.Mothers love is as deep as the sea, and childrens love for their mother is asshallow as a stream. We must learn to be grateful to our mother and honor ourmother.

Dear,
However mean your life is,meet it and live it ;do not shun it and call ithard names. It is not so bad as you are.It looks poorest when you are richest.Thefault-finder will find faults in paradise.Love your life, poor as it is.You mayperhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hourss, even in a
poor-house.Thesetting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as fromthe rich man”s abode;the snow melts before its door as early in the spring.I donot see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheeringthoughts,as in a palace. The town”s poor seem to me often to live the
mostindependent lives of any.May be they are simply great enough to receive withoutmisgiving. Most think that they are above being supported by the town;but itoften happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonestmeans.which should be more disreputable.Cultivate poverty like a gardenherb, like sage.Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes
orfriends,Turn the old, return to them.Things do not change;we change.Sell yourclothes and keep your thoughts.

Dear,
Dear fellow students,As university students, we have access to a wide range of learning resources and facilities that can help us excel in our academics and future careers.
The first step to utilizing these resources is to take the initiative and seek out information on the various resources available to us. This can include visiting the university library, attending workshops or seminars, or seeking advice from academic advisors or tutors.
Additionally, we can make use of online resources such as e-books, academic journals, or online courses to expand our knowledge and skills.
It is also important to utilize the various facilities available on campus, such as research labs, computer rooms, and sports facilities. These resources can help us develop skills, socialize with peers, and improve our overall well-being.
Lastly, it is important to find a balance between utilizing academic resources and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, such as taking breaks, exercising, and engaging in hobbies.
In conclusion, let us all strive to make the most of the learning resources and facilities available to us and achieve the academic success we deserve.
Thank you.

Dear,
Good morning everybody! Its my honor to speak here, and I am very glad to share my topic with you. Then today Id like to talk something about which is more important, time or money. Some people often say:"money is more important than time."they think that if people have money. They can buy clothes, foods, drinks, houses, cars, puters and so o n. But l dont think so.
Because when time is gone we cant get it back. But we can keep on ma-ki-ng more money.
We can use time to get money. However we cant use money to get time. Lost wealth maybe replaced by industry. Lost knowledge by study. Lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone for ever.
I cannot afford to waste my time ma-ki-ng money. So I think time is more important than money. We must make full use of our time to study and work. Each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique. Students, do you love life? Then do not squander time, for thats the stuff life is made of. Life is long if you know how to use it. So lets save our time. OK,thank you for listening, thats all

Dear schoolmates,
As I am graduating, Id like to write this letter to express my feelings before leaving school. During the past three years in high school, I have really achieved a lot. Through the study of Chinese, I have a better understanding of the Chinese culture; through the study of Mathematics, I equip myself with a more flexible mind; through the study of English, I grasp a new language. I pretty appreciate what teachers have done for me!
However, I also have some regrets. Im so occupied in my study that I spend little time participating in various activities. But I will make up for it in my college life.
In September this year, I will step into my ideal university. There must be different challenges waiting for me. To tell you the truth, I will have difficulty in adapting to an adult life. Anyway, I will try my best to make it.
Last but not least, Id like to give you some suggestions. Firstly, always feel optimistic about your lives and you will be successful. Secondly, make a target and you can study with more concentration. I believe all of you can live your dreams in the end!

Dear teachers:
Hello everyone!
It is quite usual that one meets failures, for ones life can never be plain sailing. However, different people hold different attitudes towards failure. Some people think it a heavy blow to fail in achieving something and they can not endure failure.
When they meet failure, they will be seriously dejected and can never pluck up their courage to try again.
However, others think it natural to meet failures in ones career. Therefore, they are psychologically prepared. When they meet failures, they will not be frustrated. Instead, they will continue to meet new challenges. As to me, Im in favor of the latter view. Failure is really a terrible thing but it is also the mother of success. If one draws lessons from failures, in most cases he will get success in the future. Furthermore, ones life can never be smooth sailing; it must be full of difficulies and setbacks. If one is daunted by difficulies and frustrations, he will always be a failure. However, if one holds a positive attitude toward failure, he will overcome difficulties and frustrations to win victory.
