As the weather is cooling down, a new term has come to us. Looking back, bitterness and happiness had been our companions. Now, it’s time to turn to a new page. Chances and challenges are waiting for us. I believe that my fellow students have been rubbing hands with glee, eager to engage the abundant activities and anxious to have a try.
As teenagers, we have infinite hope.In spite of the innocence, we never fail to picture our beautiful dreams in our brains. It emerges that, struggling or confusing,only diligence and persistence lead to the final harvest after wrinkles in study, life or work.
Enthusiasm is the soul of youth. In these glorious days of youth,you are able to gain knowledge as well as develop your capacity, natural and unrestrained. Brilliant life in the future relies on your hard word at present.Youth is a matter of step out of your safe zone bravely, confirmedly and desperately. No matter how many difficulties in the way, we, with the wings of faith,will unlock the doors of youth to view scenery of success.
“Where there is a will, there is a way.”On the occasion of the new semester, the Students Unionappeal to all the students to light the flame of beginner’s mindwith our passion, water the flower of youthwithoursweat, and reap the fruits of success with big smiles!

The new semester is a time for resolutions and ma-ki-ng changes.Having gone through the short and joyful summer holiday,everyone is looking for the coming of the new semester.We resolve to get up earlier to learn English,go to classroom every night,exercise more to stay healthy,communicate with old classmates frequently,take part in extra-curricular activities actively,find a boyfriend or a girlfriend,do part time jobs and so on.
However,past experience has taught me that certain accomplishments are beyond attainment.I believe that most of us had made even a more ambitious plan during the last semester,but few of them hao enough perseverance to fullfill it.Such is the human nature,that one man”s character is inveteracy and difficult to change.Aware of these pitfalls,I limit myself to two modest ambitions:to play tennis well and to draw more in the weekend.
In fact, I am crazy about sports.But P.E teachers hardly teach us and we learnt nothing in the past,even in the precious university time, in the last semester, the whole P.E class was devoted to group
exercise. It was not until the third semester that I have time and energy to go after the dream of becoming of a sportsman.
As for drawing,it”s also a dream hidden in my heart for many years. The dream can be dated from my first grade in primary school,when I joined the painting club.Originally, I thought I can gain some achievements in art, but life is not always following what you guide for it, for some complicated reasons I gave up drawing and with the burden of learning becoming heavier and heavier, I had no time to pursue if any longer. Now time is different, I have more free time to do what I enjoy, I want to compensate my loosing dream in the childhood.
Be a happy person,from now on!
