he is right. we always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind .for example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. yet we still litter on the ground. we complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. we are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. but, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? we use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, i dare to say, we harm more!
in my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. as ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. but we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.
if each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world!
so please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence not only you, but those around you too, especially our children …and perhaps more importantly…our planet!

他说的很有道理，我们每个人都心怀伟大时志向，时刻准备去干一番能造福全人类的大事业。比如，我们痛恨环境污染，所以我们下定决心去开发新的更高效更干净的能源来保护我们的环境，但是同时我们却随手乱扔垃圾;我们抱怨大城市的交通堵塞，计划造更多的高速路来解决交通问题，但是我们从来没有想过，如果我们能遵守交通规则话，那么这一问题是不是可以得到很大得缓解呢?我们担心电视电影里面得暴-力会对我们得孩子产生不良的`影响，于是我们敦促政府通过立法来保护未成年人，但是我们这些大人又做得怎么样呢?我们为我们的下一代做好了表率吗?我们说粗话，甚至在孩子面前抽烟。不客气地说，我们对孩子的不良影响更多!
在我看来，在我们打算改变这个世界之前，我们最好先改变一下自己。作为一个普通人，我们其实没有改变这个世界的能力，但是我可以改变我们随地扔垃圾，随地吐痰的坏习惯， 我们应该学会去保护环境，我们应该为我们的孩子起好的表率作用。
如果我们每个人都能从小事起，那么千千万万个人力量汇聚在一起，那力量是强大的，足以改变这个世界。
朋友，当您在做某一件事情的时候，请您想一想，您的行为会对您周围的人产生怎样的影响， 因为，您的行为不单单影响到您自己，还有您周围的人，更重要的是我们的孩子…甚至我们的世界。

the contest is very exciting,right？It seems like i am the end man of tonight’s contest，and till now,i think,u may feel tired or sth, but may i crave your attention , i am trying hard to impress u.
And today my topic is change the unchangeable from another way Let me begin with a little funny instance
Imagine that separately put a piece of carrot,an egg,and some coffee bean into three pots,add as much water and put them on the fire.isn’t hard to imagine,right?after the water roaring,the carrot would be tender,the egg’s protein colt,and the coffee bean would change the water into a nice cup of coffee.they are just some normal phenomena,but have you noticed that through the same processing mode,the same pot,as much water and the same heating time,the response are totally different.when facing boiling hot water, the carrot chooses to change itself to become more weak and flabby while the egg toughens inside to become stronger,and the coffee beans,the most amazing one,although it get hurt itself,delivering it fragrance to around and even change the awful environment.
So ladies and gentleman,which kind of person would you want to be when we are going through the hardship? The carrot,the egg,or the coffee bean?
if you want to roll as coffee bean to change the unchangeable,the
first step must be to change yourself.as we all know,Napoleon ,the king of the first empire of france,was only one hundred and fifty-seven centimeters in height and go down in history as a great general but not a dwarf，his height is absolutely unchangeable but he change it with his great achievements. That means,we could convert the unchangeable into changeable by means of some kinds.and the next thing to do is to hold fast our dreams,insisting to vainly hope for that may arrive at the successful other shore one day
But, we have to admit something in the world is definitely unchangeable.we could never make the sun raising from the west.if then why not just act as an egg,to accept it and toughen yourself. And finally,let me conclude my speech with a piece from bible.

To be frankly,I don’t think I have great skills in English.To stand here and speak out is a challenge for me.Or，I should say，a change for me.
So，today my speech topic is “change the unchangeable”.I never thought I would stand in front of so many people and deliver a speech in English.As most students in High school,I did all exercise just for the College Entrance Examination.I haven’t got real use of English.For my lack of words and bad pronunciation，this is definitely the first time，so I am so nervous.But now，I have changed，and I change my mind in the bottom of my heart.I think ，this is a change，“change the unchangeable”
And then，I want to talk more about that.We can consider this word“change the unchangeable”as a kind of characteristic ,spirit or virtue.We can see this virtue in many videos ,books,films and music.For example ,the Hollywood film in this summer holiday,The Transformers 4.It tells about Autobots and Decepticons.They fight for the energy ,but their fight destroyed their planet.Maybe the future is unchangeable
for them to survive.But they came here ,on the earth.Autobots are friends of us while Decepticons want to rule us ,rule the earth.In this film,the leader of Decepticons ,Megatron,nearly killed Atimus Prime.It seems that it won’t take long to rule our world.At the end,Atimus Prime wake up the dinosaur transformers,with the help of human friends,they won.
Maybe most people watch this film because of it’s wonderful vision.But the spirit can’t be ignored .They change the unchangeable.To be careful,you can find many films and books are explaining the virtue.
At last ,I want to say something about myself.It may be hard to let you believe that I only had two years for my high school.I am not meaning I’m a genius.It’s because a very very very serious disease,pneumothrax ,in Chinese qixiong.What is it like ? The lungs break ,and the air we breath in leaks into the chest and compress other organs ,such as the heart and stomach.You can image how painful it is .And this disease is easy to caught again,I did operations in Sichuan people’s hospital for four times ,again and again .
I’m from the coutryside.Not only did it cost all the money in my family ,but also I missed the whole classes in grade 2.And the doctors said ,I wouldn’t grow up because too much X-rays had
healed the bones.I did X-rays for totally 23 times.And much more,he said I can’t do violent sports anymore .I can walk and talk ,but I can’t run or sing.I love singing and playing basketball.I can’t even talk too loudly.
But can you guess what I have done?
When the grade 3 begins.I choose to follow my class,although everyone don’t agree with.For what? I said the operations used up all the money.When the last time I’m in hospital to wait for the operation.I didn’t have money.It’s my school ,teachers and students who donated money for me.I was so moved.During that year ,when my classmates revised the old knowledge,I was learning the new.And I succeed.I came here ,southwest Jiaotong University.Not too bad or very good.But I am so satisfied.
As for my body health,after one year’s rest, I started to do some si-mp-le exercise within my limitation.Of course ,my chest often hurts,always losing breath.The progress is painful.But I persisted.I can’t believe what doctors said .I want to change it. I am running every night.Do you have ideas about how long it is to circle our school? It’s 7 kilometers.Until now,I have been living a normal life.I can run fast,I can play basketball,and I can sing loudly.

Good Morning,Ladies and Gentlmen,
I was deeply in thought at the first sight of this topic. What on earth could the word be ? What kind of world do we build? when I listen to the radio about World Championships in Athletics held in South Korea. It occures to me that changing the world in positively is sports.
Just thinking it over, what can get all over the world together,what can let people with different skin colour arrive to the same place for the same goal, What can make war even cease in order to make way for it .Keep thinking , Look back to history,there is just one event, It is for sake of sport ,It is the Olympic Games.I cannot help but to recollect :Is this the charming aspect of sport ? Is this the essence of the Olympic Spirit
Sport is not only a competition,but it is a way to challenge oneself. It shows us how to participate in something that is bigger than ourselves, and teaches us how to be a team and how demonstrate respect for teammates and opponents . It
helps us learn how to win with respect and lose with grace. On top of this ,Sports can not only strengthen our bodies and lift up our spirits, but also significantly improve the human qualities, thus playing an important role in boosting
