My topic today is about gratitude.

Gratitude is a kind of good feelings, a feeling to express gratitude to people or things that have help them. My dear friends, please remember in your heart! Thanksgiving is a good tradition in our nation and it is basic moral character for a person of integrity.

The key to gratitude is repay. Repay is keeping the feeding of grateful in your mind for the people that have trained, instructed, guided or helped you and paying off with practical actions.

Then, as a middle school student, how to express our gratitude to others?

First, we should be grateful for our parents for the reason that our life is a continuation of our parents. Our parents gave us their whole love, letting us enjoy the affection and happiness of the human world. Therefore, we are supposed to thank our parents.

Second, we should be thankful for nature. For nature is the basis of all the things. Our human beings’ life is inseparable from it and all of our basic necessities come from nature.

Third, the teachers play an important role in our life. They are our friends and they not only respect, understand and care us, but also let us benefit a lot in our life. They always give but never ask for any return, so we should be grateful for our teachers.

Then, our classmates are the fellows that we usually encourage each other, help each other to jointly overcome difficulties and setbacks. We share joys and sorrows, so we should be grateful for our classmates. Last but not the least, there is a place we will live in many years? Can you guess? Yes! It’s our school! The school provides us with a good study environment, in which we can practice and develop our ability, therefore, we should be thankful for our schools!

In a word, my dear friend, let’s bear the gratitude in our mind forever! Thanks for your attention! That’ all!

Thanksgiving is a very important American festivity and it is celebrated on the last Thursday of November.
