职高英语作文教学初探
作文是对知识的综合应用,笔者结合这几年的教学经验,谈谈职高英语作文在教学中的一些浅见。
一、认清英语教学的现状,了解学生的实际水平
职高生基础差,对学习缺少信心,英语作文无从下笔,大-片空白,只能写出单个词,难以成句。高职考的作文比分重,难度大,因此学生必须提高英语写作水平。
二、仔细研究高职考作文的评分标准,对症下药
第一,关键词关键句齐全,观点不能缺;
其次,简单句必须没有错误;
最后,复杂句用得恰当;
三、总结经验,研究方法
1.分层教学,重视基础
笔者总结了作文教学三点论,并要求学生做到三点,紧抓三点,最终能灵活使用。
(1)抓关键词。抓关键词是指以词为中心,产生联想,成为一篇文章。
高职考的作文评分标准,有一条是以关键词给分,所以应要求学生在写作时关键词必须用上,如这样一篇作文:
根据所给情景,参考所给的提示及关键词,写一篇60~80个词的短文。
假如你是李平,你的朋友John向你询问如何保持健康,请你给他提些建议。关键词:give,some advice,beans,especially,freshvegetables ,You’d better, take physical exercise, stay up
根据关键词造句:我可以给你提一些建议,要合理饮食,多吃写豆类食物,尤其是新鲜蔬菜和水果。你最好注意锻炼身体,不要熬夜。
简尔言之,就是首先依据提供的词语,在头脑中有一个大致的轮廓,能知其意,再以词为中心,遣词造句。
(2)写句子。所谓写句子,是指在作文入门期间,要求学生严格做到“主谓宾(表)齐全”。
首先,基本句型结构教学。几乎所有的英语句型都是句型的扩大、延伸或变化,因此训练学生“写”就要抓住基本句型的训练,重点把握两种结构:“主 及物动词 宾语”、“主 不及物动词”。。
其次,结合语文教学,总结用法和规律,做到事半功倍、一箭双雕。因为从语言学角度来说,语言有许多共通之处,有一些共律 ,如“形修名、副修动”等, “句子必须要有谓语,动词做谓语”等。
以上文为例,则可写句子:
I give you some advice.
You need to eat beans especially fresh vegetables and fruits.
You’d better take physical exercise.
You should not stay up
对于基础好的同学,如果作文要出彩,在平时的教学中,笔者要求学生多总结有用的词块。
(3)把握时态。把握时态是指在作文时,要具体分析不同的.场景,用对时态,写对句子:日记、故事描写和事件描述用过去时;阐述自己的观点,用现在时;如果是参观日程安排,用将来时态;解释图表,要看情况来选择时态。
综合所述,我们以2007年高职考作文为例试看:
假设你是Li Lei,即将告别三年的高中生活,在这三年中你和老师同学朝夕相处,一起学习,共同成长度过了美好的时光,请以“Thank you my dear teachers and classmates”为题用英语写一篇短文,发表在班级的博客上。
Key words : graduate from ,enjoy, care about,patient, helpful, fair, kind, get on well with ,fun
Graduate from :I will soon graduate from our school and enter a college.
Enjoy: I enjoy studying with my teachers and classmates .
We enjoy ourselves every day .
We enjoy the time and life we spent together .
Care about : The teachers care about us.
patient helpful, fair kind: My teachers are patient and helpful to us.
They are fair to everyone. They are also kind .
We not only have many patient and fair teachers but also have many helpful and kind classmates.
It is patient and fair of my teachers to treat us .It is helpful and kind of my classmates to help my studies.
What patient and fair teachers they are!
How helpful and kind my classmates are!
get on well with : we get on well with each other .
Fun:What endlefun we have here!
We have fun here!

How time flies! We will soon graduate from our mother school and enter colleges. I really enjoy the time and life we spent together.
