　　Dalian is a beautiful city! It is in the province near the coast just south of where I live . It is a very multi-cultural city as there were Russian, Korea, Japanese, American, Argentinean, and Italian cultural presences throughout the area. I had a great time traveling with a couple of foreign buddies. What was the most fun to travel with I talked to my friend that they are so many my “firsts”. First time to drink Starbuck’s cappuccino, first time to ride in a sleeper car, first time to see dolphins, first time to go on a VACATION. It was funny. I began use chinglish all the way....they took fun of me Dalian’s coastline is gorgeous. There is tons of shopping areas and much to see. We went to the Sun Asia Ocean and Polar World, and many shopping districts. I had my fill of awesome food:

　　The fast development of technology has made many changes in our daily life. For the students in a public high school in Philadelphia, the change is really great. Their so-called “The School of the Future” opened recently with the help of Microsoft Corp. The combination(结合) of the latest technology and teaching methods makes it the focus in the world.

　　It took the School District of Philadelphia $ 63 million to build the “one of the most advanced high schools”. It is free and has no entrance exams. All the 170 students were picked by an open lottery from 1,500 applicants(申请者). 95% of the students are blacks and about 85% are from low income(收入) families.

　　In the school, the students still sit in classrooms, but they work on their laptops. Instead of textbooks, their lessons rely mostly on information found on the Internet. Students can learn at their own steps. They do their homework on computers and send it to the teachers for marking. Parents can check their children's study on the Net at home.

　　The School of the Future is not out of reach. The CEO of the school district said, “This is how school of today can and should be designed and developed to prepare students for life and work.”

　　The future school in my eyes is a place where students can enjoy tremendous amount of freedom and the pleasure of study. As we all know, schools nowadays do not provide students with good environment to study and to grow up. Therefore, I hope that the future schools will focus more on that and help students to fully develop themselves.

　　With rapid progress of science and technology ,our life has changed a lot .I think the school life in the future will be quite different from now . First I think the students will not have to use the text books at school instead ,they will get more knowledge on the Internet . Second they won't have to write their homework instead ,they will finish it by sending their teachers emails.

　　Finally, the teachers will not write anything on the blackboard ,instead they will also use the computers to teach.
