读了《只有一个地球》之后，我掩卷沉思：人类只有一个地球。而今的地球，由于人类的肆意破坏，她美丽的外表早已千疮百孔。她那丰富的资源也日近枯竭了。一个美丽的地球，在无知的人类手里，已日趋接近灭亡了。

我们的母亲河—黄河，其奔腾不息的气势曾征服了中华每一个炎黄子孙。而后，谁又曾想到，每天被黄河冲走的泥土有多少呢?黄河上游的植被面积少之又少，又加上人类的大量砍伐，稀少的植被栓不住泥土，被水一冲，就溶入滔滔江水之中，不仅使河水变得浑浊不堪，而且，因为大量泥沙沉积，河床抬高，造成洪灾泛滥，河水断流，美丽的母亲河失去了她往日的风采。所以，保护森林.绿化家园，责任重大。

现代文明给人类带来了幸福。但是，在文明的背后，一个个问题接踵而至。空气污染. 水资源污染等，成了一个个不可忽视的问题。工厂排出来的污水，废气，造成水资源，空气的严重污染。在如今，已经很难再找到一处完全没有被污染过的河流了。现在的天气一天比一天热，这是由于地球表面大气层被破坏，造成破损的大气层无法完全抵挡来自太阳的紫外线的照射，这给我们的健康造成了严重的威胁。

我想对地球母亲说我想对您，我们的地球母亲说四句话，来表达我内心的感受。我想对您说的第一句话便是谢谢!正如文章开头所说的，我们的生存离不开您。有人抱怨沙漠戈壁酷暑难耐，冰雪极地冰冷无常，却不知我们已经很享受了。您给了我们那么多，清澈的河流，嫩绿的草地，肥沃的土壤，还有那万万不可缺少的氧气。在茫茫的宇宙中，又有哪颗行星能与您媲美。满是荒凉的月球?陨石坑密布的火星?还是距离我们十万八千里的其他星系?又能有哪一个有您那样的怀抱，能让我们生活的舒适自在。您用自己的心血孕育着我们，我们真的该对您说一声：“谢谢!”道完了谢，便要道歉了，我想对您说一句“对不起。”您给了我们生活的乐土，我们却没有好好的珍惜。一次性筷子，泡沫饭盒，塑料袋……这一切都使您变得肮脏不堪。树木被大量砍伐，水土大量流失，溪水变得不再清澈，您的容颜已被弄得一团糟。这一切的变故，都源于我们人类!所以，我要对您说一声:“对不起。”“我们知道错了!”这便是我想对您说的第三句话。近几年，人们的环保意识渐渐增强，也意识到了环境的重要。古人曰：“知错能改，善莫大焉。”我们也了解到了自己的错误。植树造林，河道清理，提倡使用布袋购物……这一切都是我们的悔悟。我们要用实际行动告诉您：“我们知道错了!”“我爱您!”这是我的最后一句话，也是我发自内心的呼喊!您对我们有着养育之恩，那无私的胸怀令人敬佩!千言万语，只有说一声：“我爱您!”。
