Directions:

Your friend Wang Li wants to get some advice from you about what to study in university, computer science or history. Write a letter to him, which includes:

1) what do you think about the two subjects,

2) give your advice to him, and

3) encourage him in his future study.

Write your letter with no lethan 100 words. Write it neatly on ANSWER SHEET 2. Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead. (10 points)

I am glad to give you some advice on the problem you are faced with. As you said in your last letter, you couldn’t make a decision about which to study in your college, computer science or

history.

In my opinion, nowadays, with the development of science and technology, computer plays an increasing role in our work and daily lives. As it turns out, one who wants to find a good job

must be an expert at computer first. Referring to history, I don’t think it is a subject that could contribute to your capacity of finding a satisfactory job. You could take it into account that you
