托德·乔伊斯寄给郑伟勇的纪念品有：印有“杜立特轰炸者协会”徽章的T恤衫、茶杯、饮料瓶护套、布制胸章和纪念杜立特行动69周年的纪念章、邮票等。其中在一本1988年初版的《杜立特轰击》和一幅反映杜立特行动的油画印刷品上，有目前仍在世的5名杜立特行动成员的签名，他们是：一号机副驾驶员理查德·E·科尔、七号机机械师兼机枪手大卫·J·撒切尔、九号机领航员托马斯·卡森·格里芬、十五号机机械师兼投弹手爱德华·约瑟夫·塞勒、十六号机副驾驶员罗伯特·L·海特。

托德·乔伊斯在信中对郑伟勇为了寻找杜立特行动者降落地点所做的努力与工作表示感谢。

参与1942年轰炸东京的杜立特行动有16架飞机、80名机组成员。有一架轰炸机误飞到苏联符拉迪沃斯克迫降，其它15架轰炸机轰炸东京后均飞到中国东南部上空后坠毁。机上的75名飞行员，在黑夜中迫降、弃机跳伞，全部降落在中国的浙江、安徽、江西、福建等剩64名飞行员被中国百姓营救，有51人集中在位于衢州的'空军航空第十三总站，1人跳伞时未离开飞机被摔死而葬在衢州。

多年来，我市历史研究爱好者郑伟勇一直在搜集研究轰炸东京的16架飞机的坠毁点、80名飞行员的坠落点以及所有参与营救美国飞行员的中国民众名单，并已经写了10多万字的纪实报告初稿。

郑伟勇曾与2015年1月刚去世的威廉·鲍尔机长和2010年9月去世的查尔斯·奥扎克领航员等通信联系过，以确定参与营救的中国民众等历史细节。他还多次把采访搜集研究的成果公布在美国“杜立特轰炸者协会”官方网站上。所以，许多杜立特行动成员的子女均与郑伟勇有联系。今年年初他即收到查尔斯·奥扎克的女儿苏珊·奥扎克的感谢信。此次郑伟勇收到的礼物主要是美国纪念杜立特行动69年周年的纪念品。
