But it didnt surprise me when Dorothy killed a wicked witch by accident, because every novel could start a story with such unusual coincidence. However, the next happened were really out of my expectation. First of all, Dorothys comrades were deadfully strange. For example, the scarecrow could speak ,walk and think, it is surprising, after all, his head was stuffed with straw, and just with eyes , nose as well as mouth painted on it to represent a face. It was even more surprising when changed new straws, he was still himself. He went to find the Great OZ because he wanted the Great OZ to give him some brain so that he wouldnt be laughed at by others and could do anying like a real man.The second was Tin Woodman,and his experiences were miserable. When every time they met trouble, it was scarecrow that came up with good ideas and helped them out; When every time they met monstrous beasts , it was the lion that stepped ahead and protected them. Besides, the Tin Woodman was the one who was always kind to small animals and was sure to cry when he saw others misery. The only they didnt obtain was confidence. So the humbug gave them confidence by using tricks.
