对爱抬扛说的话
苏轼：字子瞻，号东坡居士，北宋著名的大文学家。他与佛印是好朋友，而且俩人常在抬扛中增深感情。一次，他们同游寺院，见到门口有两个面目狰狞的金刚塑像，东坡问佛印：“这两个金刚哪个会更厉害呢?”佛印想都没想，随口答道：“肯定是那个拳头大的。”走进内殿，两人看到手拿念珠的观音菩萨，东坡又问：“菩萨神通广大，她数手里的念珠做什么?”佛印说：“观音菩萨也像普通人一样在求佛埃”东坡追问：“她本身就是了，还求哪个佛啊?”答曰：“求自己埃”东坡不明白：“这就奇怪了，求佛哪有求自己这回事儿?”佛印面露得意之色：“你不知道求人不如求己?”是的，不论什么时候，靠天就不如靠自己啊!
又一次，东坡对佛印说：“我突然有个特别发现，古代诗人常将‘僧’与‘鸟’在诗中相对，举例说吧，你看：‘时闻啄木鸟，疑是叩门僧。’还有：‘鸟宿池边树，僧敲月下门。’我真佩服古人以‘僧’对‘鸟’的聪明。”佛印一本正经地说：“是啊，东坡，这也正是为什么我跟你经常相对而坐的理由了。”在大家们调侃之际，也同样增长我们的知识啊!
还有一次，东坡与佛印乘船游玩，佛印突然将手中提有东坡诗词的扇子扔到水中，朗声笑道：“水流东坡诗(尸)!”苏轼被佛印这一闹，瞬间愣了一下，但很快缓过神来，指着河岸上正在啃骨头的一只狗，摇头晃脑吟道：“狗啃河上(和尚)骨!”他们的机智诙谐值得我们去学习!
以上我们可以看出佛家僧人从抬杠中能得到极大乐趣。东坡是儒生中的真正智者。由此看来，抬杠这游戏若想做出快乐，最好在聪明人之间进行，常人之间的抬杠往往流于互相蛮不讲理，没有任何趣味可言。

如有一人坚持不住中途放下杠子，这三十二杠的棂轿就会全部趴架。“抬杠”本是美差，不但有美餐还有小费，所以“抬杠”的人各个坚守岗位。“抬杠”一词就源于此处，后来，老北京人就把争论不休的人称之为“抬杠”。而“抬死杠”、“死抬杠” 的拌嘴人，的确谁也不肯放弃自己的岗位。现在，北京城里早就没有“棚铺”这个行业了，但“抬杠”的人还是到处都有。
