连贯,也可以说成“联贯”,即句子之间连接贯通。显然,把句子写连贯,这是指写几句话(又叫“句群”)来说的。翻开同学们的作文本,段落中上下句不连贯的现象是比较普遍存在的,主要表现在:句子之间无顺序,承接不紧密,跨度大;上下句之间,被描述的对象(即“主语”)重复出现,不会运用“他(她)”,或者“它”这些人称代词。
怎样才能做到把句子写连贯呢?
(1)合理安排顺序,使句子连贯。有顺序,这是写几句意思连贯的话的最基本的要求。这就要求我们在写几句话时,一定不能东一句、西一句,想到哪儿就写到哪儿;总要围绕既定的中心意思,按照一定的顺序,把相关的句子组织在一起,使句子前后连贯。如:按照事情发展的先后顺序排列句子;按照时间先后的次序排列句子;按照空间位置换(上→下、下→上,里→外、外→内,前→后、后→前,左→右、右→左,近→远、远→近,??)顺序排列句子;按照事物的不同类别或同一事物的不同方面的顺序排列句子;按照“总→分”或“分→总”的顺序排列句子;按照“概括→具体”或“具体→概括”的顺序排列句子;按照“因→果”或“果→因”的顺序排列句子;??当然有时候还可以把两种或几种“顺序”综合起来使用。
大家读读下面这几句话,想想是按什么顺序排列的:雨越下越大。我透过玻璃窗向外望去,天地间像挂着无比宽大的珠帘,迷蒙蒙的一片。雨落在对面屋顶的瓦片上,溅起一朵朵水花,像一层薄烟笼罩在屋顶上。雨水顺着房檐流下来,开始像断了线的珠子,渐渐地连成一条线。地上的水越来越多,汇合成一条条小溪。这几句话,先“总”写雨大,再具体“分述”雨怎样大,大到什么程度。在具体“分述”时,又是按照“天地间→对面屋顶→房檐→地上”的顺序排列的。这几句话写得多么清楚、连贯啊!
(2)学会运用“他(她)”或“它”这些人称代词,使句子连贯。读读下面这几句话,想想有什么毛病,怎样说才好:妈妈的衣袖破了。妈妈赶忙从抽屉里拿出一个小布包。妈妈先从布包里拿出一根针,一条青线,用牙咬了咬
线头儿,把线头儿穿过针眼儿。妈妈又从布包里找出一小块布,贴在破了的地方,然后一针一线地缝起来。
读后,大家一定发现:这几句话写的对象是妈妈,主要写的是妈妈缝补衣服时所做的准备工作,是按事情经过的先后顺序排列的。只是由于这四句话的开头重复出现“妈妈”一词,因此读起来显得很拗口。如果把后面三句开头中的“妈妈”改成“她”字,这几句话就连贯多了。这就告诉我们:在几个句子里,如果写的只是一个人物(或事物),后面再指这个人物(或事物)时,就可以用“他(她)”或“它”来代替。
